If you are a new customer, you will need to supply the information listed below. Existing customers may use their identification numbers, which can be found in the Introduction Letter, Contract or Confirmation documents.
We will need to know about the person requesting the service (Referrer), the organisation paying for the service (Funder) and the Deaf person who will be involved in the assignment (Client). We will need details of when you want the service, the type of event and the number of people required (Providers). You must provide an address of where you would like the service delivered (Location) and we call this an Assignment. If you are unsure which type of communication support will meet the needs of the Client, please contact the call centre.
Once your request is received it is dealt with by a Request Co-ordinator . They will review it and contact you to confirm details.
A search will be made by the Allocation Co-ordinator and once a provider is assigned to your event, they will contact you.
When details are agreed, a Confirmation letter will be issued. New customers will receive an Introduction pack, together with a Contract.
Should you wish to amend or cancel your request or if you require a progress report, please email the Allocation Co-ordinator at the call centre. After the service is delivered you may Evaluate the service or if you are dissatisfied, make a Complaint.
We use both employed and freelance providers, who are appropriately qualified and insured. An advanced system is used to manage our providers, which allows us to offer a responsive service and to maintain a high rate of fulfilled requests.
If you have given a deadline, you will be contacted with a final progress report by the 5pm on that date. If no deadline is given, the search for a suitable provider will continue until 5pm the day before the assignment date, when a final progress report will be given.
Your request is made and accepted in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. The service provided is subject to the agreement of a Contract. The service delivered will be as specified in the Confirmation. Due to the finite number of providers and the ever increasing need, you have made a request for a service, not a booking.
